We have all seen our fair share of OTA’s that go a rye. We just saw the latest update for the Galaxy Tab 10.1 kill WiFi and get
pulled by Samsung. The
Droid Incredible is no different. It has seen its better days when it comes to an update. Not all that long ago a
Gingerbread update was pushed out that didn’t do to well for a lot of users. So once again, all the hard work that a company thought they put into an update got shattered. The update of course was pulled and those of you that didn’t get it were left wondering if you would ever see the day again.
Well, we have some good news for you guys, there is another update being pushed out right now. With build number 4.08.605.2 attached (Android 2.3.4), it is definitely a newer build than the previous version. Hopefully this one goes off without a hitch. You never truly know what is going to happen until you hit that update button though. Seems as though there is a 50/50 chance anymore. Best of luck and let us know if you find any issues.

Got it this morning around 0500. I didn’t receive the last OTA, but this one seems similar to the last, as when I loaded the Market, the Sprint store was there instead of Verizon. Other than that, no issues so far. Keeping my fingers crossed though.
Got the update but how do I get the gingerbread UI on it instead of Sense?
