Gingerbread update available now for T-Mobile Galaxy S 4G

This is some grand news for Galaxy S 4G owners. Looks like you can treat yourself to some much needed Gingerbread love today. You won’t get to wake up and hit update and get it installed though. You will need to manually do it via Kies and a PC. That is pretty much the only downside to the update. Why they seem to being doing this more and more lately is beyond me. But hey, you can grab Gingerbread finally.

The update is not required to make your T-Mobile device function so you can skip it if you are happy the way things are. If you choose to proceed you will be gaining Android 2.3, Camera Enhancements, Google security patch and Wi-Fi enhancements along the way.
