A longtime fan-favorite from TouchType Ltd, SwiftKey X Keyboard got an update earlier today in the Android Market. The latest version, 2.2.0.72 includes a handful of improvements, including localization for more than 20 languages, XHDPI support, and improvement for devices running Android 4.0, Ice Cream Sandwich.
SwiftKey also recently implemented a new multi-touch framework, making life a bit easier for us rapid typists. There are two new layouts included: DVORAK & COLEMAK, and there have also been improvements made to the settings menu and sharing features.
If you’re unfamiliar with this keyboard, I highly recommend giving it a try. It’s free to test for a one-month trial period, so if you don’t like it, you can always uninstall and go back to what you love. If you’re tired of fat-thumbing your on-screen keyboard and having to correct countless amounts of typos, you’ll be glad you took my advice and took the time to hit up the link below.

Android addict would be the two words I would use to describe myself. It’s the first thing I check in the morning, and the last thing I check before bed. I’m 30 years old, my first Android phone was the G1, shortly after its launch. I have also owned a myTouch 3G, and I have a myTouch 4G, which I am absolutely in love with. Other than Android, I’m a father, brother, college student, and almost-full-time employee at a local brewery/restaurant here in the cornfields of Iowa. If there’s anything you’d like to know, please feel free to hit me up. I’m a pretty nice guy, and I respond as quickly as I can. Thanks for stopping by!

Absolutly awsome, am blown away by how smart this keyboard is and how quickly it picks up your typing style and also how it looks at all previous written text by you to help it make your life easier from day 1. It learns so quickly and the predictions are absolutly spot on time after time.
I have tried ALOT of 3rd party keyboards for my HTC Desire (2.3.3) and this beats them all by a full mile. Cant wait to see how better it gets after a few weeks of analysing my writing. Thank You to the creators for one of my most worthwile downloads since I had my G1 when Android was first released here in the UK.
