Android promises a surprise for the community today, via Google+

Not only is Android the most powerful and popular mobile OS on the planet, but the folks behind the platform really seem to know how to keep the community on pins and needles. Yesterday, the Android Google+ account sent out a brief message wishing everyone a great weekend and teasing us about having a surprise up their sleeve for us, which would be announced sometime today (Monday). Of course, that’s all there was to the message — no hints or anything else to wrap our minds around.

I’m simply at a loss on this one, folks. I don’t have a clue about what Google and Android have in store, but it won’t be long until we find out. I also suck at anticipation, so I’m not going to waste anymore thought on the surprise until the announcement is made. A nerd like me could go on for days, wondering about what’s in store — luckily we won’t have to wait that long. As soon as +Android lets the cat out of the bag, we’ll be sure to let you know.
