As a reminder, in this release the app has been given a huge visual and under-the-hood overhaul, adding a bunch of new features:
• Favorites: quick offline access to files
• Bulk upload photos and videos
• Rename files and folders
• Single-tap access to all file and folder actions
• Improved gallery view
• Upload from and export to local storage
• Numerous bug fixes and stability improvements
The app has also received new language support beyond English and has been optimized for Ice Cream Sandwich (Android 4.0). Like we mentioned earlier, they have dropped the apk on their forums for everyone to download and test out. That was sure nice of them. You can find the download link below. Let us know what you think of the new update.
Download – Dropbox 1.3.0.6 apk
Simply download the apk above, install it like you would any other 3rd party application and enjoy it. If you experience any issues, the Dropbox team asks that you reply to the forum post outlining the problem as detailed as possible. The sooner it is all fixed up the sooner it can get into the market for others to enjoy.

Dropbox is awesome. It works flawlessly on my Galaxy Nexus from Verizon. You can sign up for an account here http://db.tt/zqEhYC29 and I will get a referral. Thanks
Warning: The beta is still a step in the wrong direction.
* Gone is long-press -> Download for quick download
* Not working properly with Keepass anymore
* Notifications are gone of downloading and uploading files…
* Dropbox folder moved to a spot where the Android media scanner doesn’t pick up media files, which is a problem if using it for wallpapers and ringtones
* You can’t see if a file is already downloaded, because they removed the download feature
All of these issues were reported in the first beta, but sadly the dev. has choose to completely ignore the problems and continue on, on his narrow-minded path, which ignores the customers.
It’s great they are trying to improve the app, but when trying to improve on some areas, they have completely destroyed a lot of features, which is to big a dealbreaker.
Wake up Dropbox, you are getting some serious competition right now from other cloud-storage providers and the only thing which keeps you in the front right now, is the good software, don’t let that go away.
