If you pre-ordered an Asus Transformer Prime from Amazon, you’ll be happy to know that the tablet is finally starting to ship, as of yesterday. Initially, orders were met with a shipping promise of 4-7 weeks, but it looks like that wait time was cut in half, considering it hasn’t been more than two weeks since the tablet first went up for pre-sale.
You may be wondering how we know that the Prime is starting to ship. As an Amazon affiliate, we can easily see what has been ordered through our site and we can even see when the items ship — in fact, we don’t make a dime until the item ships, so we’ve been anxiously awaiting the tablet to start moving, just as much as you who’ve ordered it.
In looking through yesterday’s numbers, I noticed that 7 of the 32GB tablets shipped yesterday (sorry 64GB buyers). It’s important to note that we saw a lot more than 7 orders, so there are still a bunch that have not shipped yet, according to our Amazon stats. Now that the first batch has left the warehouse, we’re expecting the rest of them to ship soon.
So, keep your eye’s peeled for that delivery truck. You should have a nice surprise coming soon. If you haven’t already pre-ordered, here are a set of links to aid you in your shopping experience. Make sure to let us know when you get your new toy!

That’s not proprietary information?
Vi, I don’t believe so, but if it is, thank you for the heads up. I’m going to look into it.
Really, I think you’re in for a but-load of trouble, these big companies make you sign an non-disclosure.
In looking through the terms, there is nothing wrong with disclosing that items are beginning to ship. I did remove the screenshot, however. Just in case.
Now, it’s the amount they pay you. I haven’t signed a contract in years where I was able to say how much they are paying.
Ahh, yes. In that case, there’s no worries. There’s nothing here about what we receive as pay. =D
