This year Acer is planning to launch at least one tablet that could easily meet demand and price point. The Acer A200. It is going to be a 10.1-inch Honeycomb 3.2 tablet. Sporting a 1280X800 resolution, full-size USB port for all your additional accessory desires and a Tegra 2 processor. So far they haven’t done anything new and amazing spec wise. What makes this tablet stand out though is its price. Acer is looking to put this baby on the market for $329. Granted that model will only be rocking 8GB of internal storage, but I can live with that since it also supports a micro SD card slot. If you need a little more room, you can pick up a 16GB model for .. wait for it .. $349. Ya $20 bucks more and you gain 8GB of memory. To sweeten the deal, Acer is also planning to make an Ice Cream Sandwich update to both versions in mid-February. It really sounds like Acer has stepped up their game this year.
I am certain that both models, and anything else they have planned, will be available for a hands on look during CES. We will make it a point to check these out, get a few more details and let you know if it worth your time to pick one up.
