Just a few days ago, we mentioned that Acer‘s Iconia Tab A700 tablet had leaked and was sporting a quad-core processor. Today, Acer had their premier event at CES 2012, and they showed off their new Iconia Tab A700, which failed to disappoint. It sports a beefy quad-core processor, presumably NVIDIA Tegra 3, a 1925 x 1200 resolution display, 1080p video playback, a 5MP back camera with a FFC, a 9800 maH battery, all packed into a 9.8mm thin casing with a 8.9″ display. However, the main attraction here is that it runs on stock Ice Cream Sandwich, something that the Transformer Prime won’t be getting until January 12th.
On paper, the Iconia Tab A700 seems great, as it’s running the latest Android OS, as well as an extremely high resolution display. We’ll just have to see what other tablets will be shown off at CES 2012 to compete with this bad boy. So, AndroidSPIN readers, which quad-core tablet are you now considering: the Transformer Prime or the Iconia Tab A700?
