Leave it to the RIAA to rub a burning issue in everyone’s face and come off as more of a dick then we already knew they were. Earlier today, RIAA Senior Vice President of Communications, Jonathan Lamy decided to exercise his own freedom of speech via his Twitter page. Mr. Lamy also decided to exercise his own freedom to be a moron with what he said:
“After Wikipedia blackrout, somewhere, a student today is doing original research and getting his/her facts straight. Perish the thought.”
As you can see, Lamy’s statement clearly defines his level of professionalism. Furthermore, someone must have pointed out to him either that he blatantly misspelled “blackout” in his criticizing and demeaning tweet, or to get ready for the massive PR nightmare that would soon follow. Needless to say, the tweet was deleted and nobody outside of Lamy’s massive follower list of about 210 people were subjected to his ignorance. Thanks to Gizmodo for their screengrab, we’re here to spread the word.
Hey RIAA, you didn’t think you were going to get off that easy, did you?

get your information from some old out dated textbooks where pluto was still a planet, God still existed, and smoking wasnt bad for you. Jesus, these government people need to get real, acting like there so perfect. When they get home they do the same we all do, porn a little free music and video and cal lit a night. The government has gone down the shitter. Thanks Obama. When he said change, he really meant it, a change for the worst is what he left out.
“Come Help A Nigga Get Elected” = CHANGE …and everyone helped him, he needs out, Vote for Trump!
Seriously, is Trump the best you can do? I’d rather have Obama another four years over that bumbling (rich) idiot.
Wow…not sure what is better /worse twitter post or comment post
What a stupid article. There are other ways to get information other than Wiki. Not to mention Wiki is guaranteed factual.
Sorry if our article offended you in any way, Steve. However, we never said there weren’t ways to get information other than from Wikipedia. And I hope you’re sarcastically saying Wiki is guaranteed factual. That’s completely false.
Thanks for reading. Your input is valued, be it positive or negative. Have a great day!
