Screencast celebrates 100k downloads, on sale now for $0.99!

Many of you are probably already in the loop about Screencast. It is an app designed and created by Media Solutions that allows us root users to take full video of what we are doing on our screens. You can turn your devices mic on and off to allow for personal commentary to explain an application, game or UI. Pretty much anything you can do on your device can be recorded in video with out the need of an external camera or fear of a blurry video. We have used the software many times to show you applications on our YouTube channel in the past. It is a valuable asset to us for that purpose alone. The application also has various functions for taking screenshots as well. With many settings built into the app to help you achieve the best possible video and screenshot. It really is the all-inclusive app for sharing your Android experience with ease. Having sharing access built-in for YouTUbe, Email, Facebook, Flickr and more at a simple touch.

The application has been out for quite some time now and since its initial release has progressed very nicely. I had absolutely no issues spending the previously charged $3.99 for it. In celebration of the apps success, Media Solutions just alerted us that they are putting the app on sale for a limited time. If the $4 price tag was a bit too much for you to justify buying it, it is now available for only 99 cents.

If you have wanted to pick it up now is a great time to do so. Even if you fall into the Galaxy Nexus or Tegra 2 group where the app doesn’t work, you should pick it up now. Media Solutions has been pounding away at making sure the app works everywhere possible. I have no doubts that you will see support soon. Might as well have it around for when that update comes so you can save a few bucks.
