
Going against the more highly anticipated quad-core devices that are rumored to be announced, the Primo will be aimed at a more general audience of users. The device is currently dubbed as the HTC Primo. It is said to be housing a 1GHz dual-core Qualcomm processor, 3.7-inch Super AMOLED display, 5MP rear camera and Beats Audio integration. The Primo will come out of the box with Ice Cream Sandwich ready to roll. If priced right this could be a hot little device for those on a budget or even to give to the teen in your life.
There are still a few discrepancies in what Sense UI will be overlaid on it. Stuff.tv is saying it will have Sense 4.0 on top, but others are more confident in a Sense 3.6 UI that was part of the most recent ICS leak for the Sensation. We haven’t personally played around with any of the Sense ICS leaks yet. I wonder how much of a hindrance it is to the whole ICS experience. Anyone out there have any experience with Sense over ICS? We would love to hear your thoughts on the continued need for manufacturers to specialize their devices.
