Samsung Galaxy S II and Note to get ICS by end of Q1, Norway only at the Moment

It is always fun to see your devices name listed in a title with Ice Cream Sandwich at the same time. In the end, it is a major let down when you find out it is not for your region. If you happen to be living in Norway and own a Galaxy S II or Note, you are in for an ice treat in the next 60 days. According to Samsung Norway’s Facebook profile post anyways. End of Q1 is still a long ways, so there is lots of time for them to actually start pushing the update out.

I wonder how this will help or hinder the current development of ICS for the SGS II. I am certain it shouldn’t hurt it at all. Now if we can get an update on other regions and carriers.
