AT&T Galaxy Note source code drops in release Center

Many of you are impatiently waiting for the Samsung Galaxy Note to finally hit the U.S. officially in just a few days. Pre-orders go live on the 5th and those orders are expected to be in your hands 2 days before AT&T stores can sell them. That is always pretty exciting. I wasn’t to sure about the device until I got to hold one and use one at CES 2012. Now I want T-Mobile to snag it too. To make your hopes and dreams about getting a Note even more promising, then those of you that know what a kernel is will be happy to know it has just been released by Samsung.

Samsung has just pushed the source to its Open Source Release Center for all those awesome devs to snag up a bit early. Which is great news for future development of the device. There is however a slight catch. There appears to be 3 different download versions available. JCase did a little digging through all three and found they are extremely similar. There is, however, one single line of code that varies in each. Rumor and speculation can be tossed around as much as one would like with that. Could it be for a T-Mo and Verizon variant? Who knows. Hopefully some extremely talent code readers out there will take a bit of time to see if they can come with an answer.
