Owners of the T-Mobile HTC Amaze 4G who’ve felt a little left out due to the lack of Ice Cream Sandwich availability for the device will soon be thankful for a developer who goes by the name of xboarder56. If you’ve done any dabbling in the rooting and ROM’ing business for your Amaze in the XDA forums, you’re probably already familiar with this name. Garrett Beasley, aka xboarder56, is arguably one of the best publicly-known developers (if not the best) for the device. He’s responsible for BeastMOD, Bulletproof RELOADED and a handful of other awesome ROMs specifically for the HTC Amaze.

Apparently, Mr. xboarder56 has been hard at work to bring the people what they want — myself included. Say hello to Evervolv Preview #1. This is a preview of an ICS AOSP build that he’s been brewed up which still has a ton of things that need to be worked out, but given his track record, I’m excited to see what’s in store for the coming weeks. Here’s a list of what’s broken still:

Please, keep in mind that this is only a PREVIEW build, meaning there are still many things broken. You won’t be able to use this as a daily driver just yet. However, once the download links are available, you can still feel free to try it out and assist with the testing phase if you’d like. As I mentioned, you can’t get the files you need at the time of this post — the OP says to give him a couple of hours and they’ll be up.

We have no reason to believe otherwise, so we’ll be f5′ing that post until we can snag a link and I’ll edit this post for your convenience. I’m so nice, aren’t I?
