Video: Float-N-Split Tablet Keyboard released by A.I. Type

Over the last few years we have seen a number of various alternative keyboards land on Android. It is nice to have options and not be tied into the stock keyboard if it doesn’t work out to be the best for you. While many focus purely on the need for a fast, easy to use and customizable keyboard for phones, very few work to offer a unique experience for tablet owners. They are generally just an inflated phone version ported over for tablet use. A.I. Type is changing all of that now with the introduction of the Float-N-Split tablet keyboard.

What makes the Float-N-Split so cool is the ability it has to be a standard full functioning keyboard that can be re-sized. Simply drag it up or down to adjust its size. You can switch to ‘thumb mode’ and it splits the keyboard in half. Each half can be re-sized independently or together.  They are also transparent. Allowing you to see through the keyboards background. There are dedicated numeric keys easily accessible by swiping up on the keyboard its self, as well as arrow keys for easy navigation in your text. The keyboard also offers the same customization as their other products like colors, background images, and unique themes to try out. They will be launching a full transparent theme soon that will make the keys transparent too. You really need to see it in action to appreciate the design and functionality, so check out the short video of it below.

For the international users out there, the keyboard also supports over 30 language layouts with context-sensitive text prediction for 9 languages: English, Hebrew, Spanish, German, Italian, Arabic, Russian, French and Dutch. With Greek, Turkish, Finnish, Swedish, Korean, Tagalog and more on the way soon.

If I had a tablet I would be all over this. The few times I have used a tablet the huge keyboard and need to set it down to type was always something that kept me from enjoying them. If you feel the same way, pop on into the market and pick up the Float-N-Split from A.I. Type today. It will run you $5.99, but they offer a personal 48 hour refund time frame. We have worked with them before on previous releases and they are a great company. They understand that 15 minutes for a keyboard test just isn’t long enough.

Application: AI FloatNSplit Tablet Keyboard
Developer: A.I.type
Cost: $5.99
