Tegra 3 chipped Toshiba 7.7 prototype makes an Appearance at MWC

At CES in January, we saw a few tablet designs that Toshiba had locked up behind glass. They were designs with varying degrees of resolution and sizes. With them behind glass, all we could see was the video that was playing as a loop to see the screens. While that was cool, it  didn’t offer us much information as to what was under the hood. Toshiba wasn’t about to offer up any details at the time either. A new 7.7-inch tablet has surfaced in Barcelona t MWC. With no official announcement about the tablet, there are still some specs that can help wet your palate.

The 7.7 seen is sporting the much desired Tegra 3 quad-core processor and using its wickedness to push Ice Cream Sandwich to the 1280×800 AMOLED display. It is sleeker looking design than the current Thrive 7, which has a slightly smaller screen but is considerably more bulky. Just because Toshiba has yet to announce this device as a future planned device, it is still awesome to see what the ‘other guys’ are doing. I have to admit, it does look pretty good. Time for an update. I am the proud father of three, 2, 8, and 11. I finally just moved up from the Samsung Vibrant to the Samsung Galaxy S III...... Let me tell you, it is mind blowing. I love Android, I love tech and I love my family. Not in that order though. I work to hard, play even harder and take care of all that are around me when I can.
