For those of you rocking an HTC Amaze 4G, you might want to thank Mr. Xboarder56, aka Garret Beasley, one of the select few developers making anything happen for the Amaze. His latest contribution to the community is one that is nothing short of Amazing — no pun intended. Say hello to touch-compatible ClockworkMOD Recovery 5.8.0.9!
You’ll want to be familiar with ADB before attempting to install this and be sure to read the directions carefully before diving in head first, but I’ve successfully installed it without any problems and can verify that it works just fine. The touchscreen controls take a bit of getting used to, especially if you’re an old school CWM user who’s used to using the volume rocker and power button for recovery navigation.

Android addict would be the two words I would use to describe myself. It’s the first thing I check in the morning, and the last thing I check before bed. I’m 30 years old, my first Android phone was the G1, shortly after its launch. I have also owned a myTouch 3G, and I have a myTouch 4G, which I am absolutely in love with.
