Google I/O is one of the hottest events put on every year in San Francisco CA. It is all about developers, new and upcoming wonders from Google, manufacturers and developers alike. There has been a lot of great things seen and unveiled at
Google I/O in the past. Not to mention thousands of dollars worth of free phones and tablets handed out like coffee at an AA meeting. Last year ticket prices sat at a somewhat affordable $450 per-person. While some thought this was pretty pricey, it was affordable enough for a big event that they sold out in less than an hour. This year should be equally, if not better, than last years. The only downside, ticket prices are looking to double. Registration fees will be $900 per person, while students can snag one up for $300, which is triple last years price.
Will the newly revamped price tags make you think twice about attending this year, or are you already looking to take out a second mortgage?
If anyone is looking to sponsor a site or someone to do the trip and cover the event, by all means hit us up. :O)

Time for an update. I am the proud father of three, 2, 8, and 11. I finally just moved up from the Samsung Vibrant to the Samsung Galaxy S III...... Let me tell you, it is mind blowing. I love Android, I love tech and I love my family. Not in that order though. I work to hard, play even harder and take care of all that are around me when I can.

Do you have to be a developer to go? 900 is high, no doubt but look at all the free shit you get thats worth over 900!!
So you must be a sprint customer to go. As the only way to get tickets is with your Google wallet and Google plus. Google wallet is only available for sprint. Sucks for us Canadians and anyone not on sprint.
what if you root or just push over google wallet on your phone on whatever provider your on?
