[Update] Samsung to unleash the Galaxy S III May 3rd, let the drooling Begin

The Samsung Galaxy S III saga that has flooded our in boxes, created countless rumors and produced some pretty clever image leaks, is finally about to be a reality. I can’t even begin to tell you how excited I am to finally see what the heck Samsung has been up to. The Samsung unpacked event is scheduled for May 3rd in London. The show starts at 5:00pm their time, which puts it at 9 am PST. Unless my math is terrible. The event is scheduled for live streaming via Facebook.

Does Samsung have another mega hit device in sore for us? We sure as heck hope so. Rumors peg the device to be globally launched across a multitude of carriers. Supposedly sporting their new quad-core Exynos processor and no less than a 720p HD Super AMOLED Plus display. Screen size is speculated between 4.5 and 4.8 inches. I have even seen a few hint towards a 4.9-inch screen. As for style, we fully expect it to be ultra thin and weighing very little with the thinnest bezel ever designed into a smartphone to date. This is the device I have been waiting for personally.

Be sure to stay tuned in for updates tot he device as they come out. We won’t be able to attend the event unfortunately, but we will be sitting right here watching with the rest of the world as the unveil it, finally. Be sure to bookmark facebook.com/samsungmobile so you don’t miss the show.

Update: So, my math was correct for the time zone difference.. I messed up the time though. I absolutely hate military time and mess that up all the time. So, the even is at 7pm their time making it 11 am PST. Sorry about that guys.
