Verizon MAP updated, Galaxy Nexus drops to $199 on-contract

For those of you who have been waiting to purchase a Galaxy Nexus but couldn’t get around the $299 price, April 23rd might just be your day. Verizon will be dropping their first Android 4.0 ICS device to $199.99 on a 2-Year contract starting 4/23, which comes with 32GB of internal storage.

There’s no word on if a 16GB model is coming, or whether or not the device will be available in black or white. However, some new devices such as the Incredible 4G seems to be on its way, so if you’re holding out for a new HTC device you may just want to wait.

Anyone excited and picking up a Galaxy Nexus from Verizon on Monday?
