Service manual for Samsung Galaxy S III list more specs and device Sketch

When it comes to the Samsung Galaxy S III, I am all over anything and everything to do with it. From rumors, fake pictures to speculation. If it has the SGSIII in it somewhere, you can bet I am looking for it. Seems another little document has recently slipped out into the wild with a spec list and a sketch of the device. It does seem to have some differences compared to other information, rumors and supposed confirmed details.

Yesterday we saw AnTuTu benchmark list the SIII with a 4.7-inch screen. While this leaked document states a 4.8-inch screen. Not that the .1 difference is that big of a deal to me personally. It also lists a Quad-core processor, which we expected anyways after Samsung announced the new chipset, but here we see it at 1.5GHz where as the announcement placed it at 1.4GHz, Again, a small variance in my opinion that really doesn’t sway my desire to buy it.  You might also notice the camera has come back to 8MP compared to the 12MP that was displayed by AnTuTu.

The sketch however, does line up with the Galaxy style and design. However, some of the early leaked prototype images clearly show onscreen keys vs the softkeys in the sketch. It is possible that this is an old document from pre-production or even the possibility of a fake created by a die hard Android nut to keep people talking and guessing.

The fact is, if the device has a 4.7 or 4.8 inch 720p screen and a quad-core processor at 1.4 or 1.5GHz is really rather trivial to me. All I know is May 3rd can’t get here soon enough.

Time for an update. I am the proud father of three, 2, 8, and 11. I finally just moved up from the Samsung Vibrant to the Samsung Galaxy S III...... Let me tell you, it is mind blowing. I love Android, I love tech and I love my family. Not in that order though. I work to hard, play even harder and take care of all that are around me when I can.

The thing about this that screams fake to me is the android os line, it would say Android 4.0 ice cream sandwich or something along those line , ics isn’t a very official sounding term
