Just the other day we saw that
Chainfire had rooted the
Samsung Galaxy S III successfully. It seems that over the weekend a bit more good news has surfaced. XDA developer
Faryaab has recently shared the official stocked firmware from SamMobile for the SIII with the world. It lists a final build date of May 13th and is labeled as I9300XXALE8 (4.0.4). While this news might not be super amazing for some, it does mean quite a few things for the development community. We should start seeing a few things happening very soon such as, applications being pulled out, the TouchWiz interface moved and custom ROM’s based off the leak. Personally I can’t wait to see what this does for some our current devices.

If you are itching to see what you can find and what you can do with the leak, be sure to hit up Faryaab’s XDA thread and pick up the file. Be sure to hit the thanks button too.

Time for an update. I am the proud father of three, 2, 8, and 11. I finally just moved up from the Samsung Vibrant to the Samsung Galaxy S III...... Let me tell you, it is mind blowing. I love Android, I love tech and I love my family. Not in that order though. I work to hard, play even harder and take care of all that are around me when I can.
