First Samsung Galaxy S III ROM Hits the Community

It has been pretty exciting these past couple days, with all this Samsung Galaxy S III leakage. I mean we do not even know when this “inspired by nature” phone is going to hit the digital streets, and there already has been a firmware leak, as well as apps being ripped from it. Of course before all that, the phone has been rooted and it is ready for its first custom ROM.

Well in comes XDA developer ::indie:: with the very FIRST custom Rom for the SGS3. He has created build on Chainfire’s previous work by incorporating CF’s kernel into a deodexed and zipaligned package. Now this ROM does not look much different than the GS3′s stock ROM, but it is pre-rooted with Chainfire’s kernel, and the deodexing should help those developers out there to add some themes to that “nature-ness”. So for those of you out there that are waiting to get the newly anticipated phone, you will already have root and a ROM to flash. Of course there will be more coming, so stay tuned.
