If you’re a proud owner of a DROID RAZR or DROID RAZR MAXX but still itching to see Android 4.0 ICS on your device, you’ll be happy to know that the wait is almost over. New test builds of ICS for the DROID RAZR family have been sent out to testers, this time with a system version of 6.16.211. Motorola did promise that  Android 4.0 ICS would hit the DROID RAZR family by Q2, which ends on June 30th, meaning that they still have a little over 2 weeks left.

Verizon also sent out text message notifications to DROID RAZR/MAXX users the other day, notifying them of the upcoming Android 4.0 ICS update. According to Droid-Life, this could be the official build that will be sent out to consumers over the next couple of weeks. If you’re up to the challenge and want to load this new ICS build on your DROID RAZR, then by all means hit the source link below for instructions. But remember, we aren’t responsible if your phone turns into a brick.
