Google officially announces and unveils Android 4.1, Jelly Bean

We knew it was coming. We knew it was 4.1 and after yesterday we knew it was Jelly Bean. Now we finally have the official confirmation from Google during a presentation at Google I/O. Some main perks include a smoother UI experience using V-Sync adaption and triple buffering to deliver a whopping 60FPS experience. Lots more information to to come through out the day and the week, so stay tuned. Until then, here is a video of the announcement for your viewing pleasure. Yes, it is only 44 seconds and doesn’t give you much information. But hey, it is something for now.

Update… Galaxy Nexus GSM and Nexus S to get Jelly Bean starting mid July. Also the AOSP Jelly Bean software will also hit at the same time. As for developers, the Jelly Bean SDK is available today. :O) We will be on the look out for the full video as the day progresses and gets up and running.
