Google Play makes big updates, adds TV shows, Magazines and Movies to Buy

2

Google Play just got access to a bunch of new stuff today thanks to Google. While we already have a lot of stuff available in the Play Store, it never hurts to have more. Of the new additions, we now have access to watch TV shows in the Play Store. This is great news for many people. Whats better, is you don’t just rent an episode, you can actually purchase the episode and own it for life. If buying a single episode is to costly, or seems dull to you, you can also buy an entire season in one fell swoop.

In addition to TV shows, Google did one thing that I have personally wished they would do for a while now. Yes I mean the ability to buy movies from the Play Store so that you can own that title digitally and watch it whwen ever you want on any device. Not all movies can be purchased, only those that Google has nailed down agreements with. I’ll find out those movie studios in a bit for you guys. You can always go check it out now and see if your favorites are up for purchase though.

Finally, Google has also made magazines available in the Play Store as well. You can now buy a single issue, the most current one available or subscribe to the magazine. Some offer a 30 day trial, others don’t.

Talk about a whole lot of great new content to hit the Play Store in such a short amount of time. Stay tuned.. there is lots more to come. We are in a mad dash to play catch up on some of the coolest and greatest things we just saw.

Time for an update. I am the proud father of three, 2, 8, and 11. I finally just moved up from the Samsung Vibrant to the Samsung Galaxy S III...... Let me tell you, it is mind blowing. I love Android, I love tech and I love my family. Not in that order though. I work to hard, play even harder and take care of all that are around me when I can.
