One thing that we often forget is Google TV support for a lot of applications. Thankfully, the +Google TV Friends don’t. They have managed to already side load the latest Google Plus application to their Google TV and were kind enough to share some photos of how it looks.

  Not to bad. It is pretty interesting to think that Google Plus isn’t yet available as a standalone install to Google TV yet. Being that it is the silent social killer currently, it would seem that Google would push that forward. There are a number of factors that could be holding back though. One being UI elements and usability. Google wants the experience to uniform across all devices and for it to work fluidly. Two, the current Google TV devices that are out aren’t stellar products to deliver the experience that Google wants. We hope the new Vizio and Sony products can tempt GOogle to bring G+ to our big screens in a way that they and we are satisfied with. Until then, side loading an APK is always an option, just don’t don’t be upset if it isn’t everything you want it to be.
