All right Android friends, let’s keep the fake Jelly Bean going for your ICS phone. Yesterday we were honored to get the Google Sound Search Widget from Jelly Bean. Today we are just as lucky by getting the Jelly Bean Google Play Music apk. It is oh so pretty. One feature the standard music app was always lacking in every OS, was the widget being dull and ugly. Only having the song title, band, play and next button on a grey strip of nothingness. Of course, secondary apps came along with better widgets, but now that we have Google Music Play that syncs to your cloud, so none of those secondary apps pulled any music from your cloud. Something had to be done.
Well now are awesome developers pulled the Jelly Bean Play Music app, and let us rooted ICS users get the luxury of rocking it. Yes, you have to be rooted and running an ICS ROM. Sorry Gingerbread friends, it is the way it is. The UI has not changed much, but the widget has gotten the big make over. Black background, album cover, song, band, thumbs up, play and next buttons all just look great on the new widget. So head down and get some of that Jelly Bean music, and remember to uninstall the previous version or it will not install.

You have to remove previous version from system apps.
same for me. uninstalled it the prior and that did not help.
I’m rooted on gingerbread but I installed it on top of my already installed Google Play Music and it works just fine.
