Gameloft is a game developer that nearly anyone with a smartphone is familiar with. They have created some pretty hot games for Android like The Amazing Spiderman, Modern Combat 3, N.O.V.A. 3 and the Asphalt series. No matter your gaming preference or style, chances are Gameloft has released a game that is to your liking. While many of their games are graphically intense and beautiful, they do have some others that are a bit more casual out too. The recently released a new turn based social strategy card game to the Play Store that looks pretty interesting.
It doesn’t seem to be doing to well in the Play Store though. It boasts over 200 cards, that you collect as you progress though your missions and battles or through a points based purchasing system. You can play on a PvP server or against your phone. The concept seems cool if you are into card based strategy style games.
There are a few downsides to the game though. First off, it’s not a native application. it requires flash to work, which is limited to Android 2.2 and up, and excludes Honeycomb tablets. It isn’t advisable to play on your carrier network since the game continuously pulls data to run. Don’t expect it to run properly on your recently updated Gnex on 4.1. The game is available for free in the Play Store and you are free to give it a go if you are looking for something new to try out. We don’t think this is going to be a very big success for Gameloft though.
Time for an update. I am the proud father of three, 2, 8, and 11. I finally just moved up from the Samsung Vibrant to the Samsung Galaxy S III...... Let me tell you, it is mind blowing. I love Android, I love tech and I love my family. Not in that order though. I work to hard, play even harder and take care of all that are around me when I can.
