Home replacement apps are a dime a dozen any more. The greats for devices running
Ice Cream Sandwich have to be Holo Launcher, Apex and Nova, to name a few of our favorites. That doesn’t mean there are other ones out there worth messing around with though. Especially when it is a OEM home replacement. While some of you may scoff at the idea of messing up your pretty device with a OEM made home replacement, some people, like me, kinda like taking a look at what they are up to. Sure beats dropping $500 on a new phone to see how much you love or hate the UI.
The great guys over at XDA have worked their magic to give users running ICS a taste of the LG 3.0 launcher. This would be the launcher we have all seen running on the new LG Optimus L5 and L7. The install isn’t a simple APK process though. You will need to know how to push apps to your system folder in order to give it a whirl other wise won’t be able to check out the cool widgets.
If you are feeling frisky though and want to take a gander and mess around with LG’s latest home UI, now is just as good of a chance as any. You will want to hit up asdfzz’s thread andmustangtim49′s thread for instructions, files and to join the discussion.

Time for an update. I am the proud father of three, 2, 8, and 11. I finally just moved up from the Samsung Vibrant to the Samsung Galaxy S III...... Let me tell you, it is mind blowing. I love Android, I love tech and I love my family. Not in that order though. I work to hard, play even harder and take care of all that are around me when I can.
