Everyone out there that loves Android wants Jelly Bean on their device, like last week. We have seen a number of developers already working there magic on various devices and are getting there slowly. We also know that an update to the mainstream isn’t likely for a while. Does that mean that there aren’t things you can do to get as much Jelly love as possible now? Not a chance. Another little nugget of wonderful Jelly Bean goodness has been found, seen and works on quite a lot various devices. Take a look at the video.
People are confirming it working on many other devices and ROM’s. We see mention of Gingerbread, Ice Cream Sandwich and TouchWiz. There was mention of AOSP ROM’s being functional while Sense ROM’s are out, which makes a lot of ‘sense’. It never hurts to give it a shot if you are a little adventurous. As a precaution though, it is always recommended that you make a back up before you flash anything that changes your device. There is no revers file available so if it lags, or causes issues you will need to revert back to your current ROM. No one but you is responsible for any damages or crime committed before, during or after a flash. If you want to take the plunge and give it a whirl, head over to hikarugo’s XDA thread for the file and to read up one what others are saying.
Time for an update. I am the proud father of three, 2, 8, and 11. I finally just moved up from the Samsung Vibrant to the Samsung Galaxy S III...... Let me tell you, it is mind blowing. I love Android, I love tech and I love my family. Not in that order though. I work to hard, play even harder and take care of all that are around me when I can.
