I know, everyone out there is over the whole ICS thing, we all want Jelly Bean. An update is an update, and as long as it finally brings a newer version of Android to our handset then it is good news regardless. A leaked screenshot from an internal Sprint document is showing some pretty great news for
Samsung Epic 4G Touch owners. It looks like Sprint will finally be getting the
Ice Cream Sandwich update out for your device. If memory serves me correctly, this is the final Galaxy S II in the U.S. to get ICS. The update is scheduled to start rolling out via on July 12th and is expected to take a total of 8 days to hit all owners.

It is a bit odd that Sprint is the only carrier that doesn’t push the updates through Samsung Kies though. Not that we really mind, OTA’s are usually easier for many users to snag. Kep your eyes peeled on the 12th for a notification, who knows, it might land a little earlier too.

Time for an update. I am the proud father of three, 2, 8, and 11. I finally just moved up from the Samsung Vibrant to the Samsung Galaxy S III...... Let me tell you, it is mind blowing. I love Android, I love tech and I love my family. Not in that order though. I work to hard, play even harder and take care of all that are around me when I can.

FF18? Hm, I guess that last leak was/is the official one minus any last minute tweaks then.
It is way past about time. I finally got sick of waiting for the worst network to upgrade and rooted it myself with a custom ICS rom, which works very well. I am soooooo over the Slow network. Goodbye Sprint
