The tablet wars have been heating up all across the manufacturer channels. Amazon working on a kindle Fire 2, the Nexus 7, Transformer Prime, Galaxy Note 10.1 and the list goes on. While we have all seen and heard of quite a few tablets from some of the biggest names,
HTC has been a bit silent on that front. Their first round of tablets, the View and Flyer were nice, but not all that incredible and we haven’t heard from them since. That is until now.
A new rumor has surfaced point to a new HTC tablet labeled as the Vertex. What little information that the NenaMark 2 results show is enough to make us be interested. It currently shows the Vertex sporting a Tegra 3 quad-core processor at 1.3 GHz, pushing Android 4.0.3 to a screen resolution of 1280×752. That resolution doesn’t help offer up a screen size though, but anything between 7 and 10 inches is possible. While it might be nicer on a 7-inch screen. Not much else to talk about on this one at the moment, but we will keep our eyes peeled. If HTC can produce a good tablet and not expect $500 for it, then they might have a chance to make a comeback in the tablet scene. We shall have to wait and see what they do.

Time for an update. I am the proud father of three, 2, 8, and 11. I finally just moved up from the Samsung Vibrant to the Samsung Galaxy S III...... Let me tell you, it is mind blowing. I love Android, I love tech and I love my family. Not in that order though. I work to hard, play even harder and take care of all that are around me when I can.
