Pre-Orders for Garnet Red Samsung Galaxy S III from AT&T to start July 15

3

Some were a little disappointed that AT&T opted to only carry the 16GB variant of the Samsung Galaxy S III. They had a reason for doing so though and that was for a Garnet Red edition of the device. This new color is an AT&T exclusive that you won’t find on any other carrier anytime soon. There isn’t anything fancy, new, or improved on the special edition other than its color. It does help you stand out a bit against the crowd of blue and white users though. Will a color variation make you feel more special? Doubt it, but it is still pretty nice to see another option out there for would be S III users on AT&T’s network. The Garnet Red edition will be available for pre-order via AT&T online and in company owned retail locations on July 15th and will hit stores officially on July 29th.

Anyone out there been holding out for this extra special color?

Time for an update. I am the proud father of three, 2, 8, and 11. I finally just moved up from the Samsung Vibrant to the Samsung Galaxy S III...... Let me tell you, it is mind blowing. I love Android, I love tech and I love my family. Not in that order though. I work to hard, play even harder and take care of all that are around me when I can.

The red version looks great! If I had known AT&T was going to release a red version a few days later, I wouldn’t have upgraded yet! I now have the white Galaxy SIII, which is still just as gorgeous and I love it! It’s all about speed. Some of my Dish co-workers really encouraged me to get an LTE phone like the GSIII, and I can see why they like it so much. I like streaming my live and recorded TV to my current phone through the Sling Adapter I have connected to my receiver at home, and after downloading the Dish Remote Access app to my phone, I was streaming then and there. Samsung has made a great phone, and though I wanted a red one, I’m glad I have one of the best phones out there.
