If you thought you were excited for Samsung’s Unpacked event this year, you might as well start planning for a “second-go”. Reports by IntoMobile, claim that Samsung will be holding another Unpacked event, but this year in Germany.
And at Samsung’s Unpacked events, big surprises usually occur. Events such as major device launches, which could bring light to a possibility of a Galaxy Note 2. And if you are not familiar with the Galaxy Note, think of it as a Galaxy Nexus, injected with some steroids, which also a had a facelift. The facelift being, its massive 5.3” screen.
However, it is quite odd that Samsung would schedule “yet another“ Unpacked event. With fierce competition coming from manufactures such as HTC and Motorola, I can actually see why Samsung would pull this kind of stunt.
Rumored specs of the device will probably include a more gigantic, 5.5” screen and even a quad-core Exynos processor, clocked at 1.5GHz. Of course, in the United states we would probably see an “S4 processor”, but still this thing is going to be quite a monster.
Samsung is really compiling a great “army of phones” this year. Even the Galaxy Nexus from a late 2011 launch, is still highly successful. And along with the Galaxy S III, the company will have quite a line-up.
What do you think of Samsung’s rumored behemoth? Will it fit in your pocket? I would love to hear your comments.
