For those of you sporting a
Samsung Galaxy S Blaze 4G with
T-Mobile, you might be happy to know there is an OTA rolling out for your device today. The firmware version will be T769UVLF4 and only brings in a few minor bug fixes to your device. Most all of which are pretty small fixes like E911 issue over Wi-Fi, Echo issue when on Hearing Aid compatibility call and Proximity Sensor improvements. The file size is only 15.7MB’s and you’ll need 20MB’s of space available to install the update. While this isn’t anything amazing, you should probably go ahead and install it when you get a chance. If you don’t get the OTA, they will be releasing the files to Samsung Kies for you to manual update at your leisure.
On to some much better news though. At the beginning of the Software Update page at T-Mobile support they offer a little bit if Ice Cream Sandwich news. It looks like Samsung and T-Mobile are working on an ICS update for the Galaxy Blaze 4G, but a release date or time frame is still TBD. That is kind of exciting news, isn’t it?

Time for an update. I am the proud father of three, 2, 8, and 11. I finally just moved up from the Samsung Vibrant to the Samsung Galaxy S III...... Let me tell you, it is mind blowing. I love Android, I love tech and I love my family. Not in that order though. I work to hard, play even harder and take care of all that are around me when I can.

This update broke my root. Don’t know if I should try same root method again, I’m afraid it might brick the phone. Anyone else have any experiences with this?
It did the same thing to me, and I just used the same root method I used before and it worked fine.
Thanks!
Stick with Gingerbread. ICS is slower and has no Adobe Flash support. Gingerbread was playing flash all day long. No more with ICS. Now I’m stuck and can’t go back. What a joke. Ugh!!!
