Google Wallet gets enabled in update to Nexus 7

1

Some of you lucky little Android-heads have already received your Nexus 7 tablets in the mail yesterday and more of you will get them as the weeks progress. For those of you who already have them in hand, you might have been greeted with a small update already. No, it isn’t dumbing down the search function like on some other high-profile devices, instead the update has kicked on Google Wallet and the nifty little NFC chip that is packed inside of your tablet.

While you are out and about you can whip out your fancy pants N7 and buy stuff, all without having to dig out your wallet. Don’t forget, as part of the order you were given a free $25 Google Wallet gift card. How about you go pick something up on Google.

Time for an update. I am the proud father of three, 2, 8, and 11. I finally just moved up from the Samsung Vibrant to the Samsung Galaxy S III...... Let me tell you, it is mind blowing. I love Android, I love tech and I love my family. Not in that order though. I work to hard, play even harder and take care of all that are around me when I can.
