The folks over at AndroidCentral got their hands on a screenshot of an OTA update that is headed to the Verizon Galaxy Nexus in the near future. The bad part is, it’s not Jelly Bean. Darn.
The update is supposed to include numerous bug fixes and improvements. Users in Verizon Galaxy Nexus forums have reported that this update does enhance their signal strength, something that the Verizon Galaxy Nexus has trouble with.
Hopefully we’ll see this new OTA update pushed out to the public in the near future. But for the mean time, let’s debate when Verizon will approve Jelly Bean…by December?

all i can say is…HA HA
I know huh lol feel bad for those people with that fake nexus always at the mercy of Verizon. The worst part is that its not even JB. I just bought my wife a galaxy nexus and 5 mins out of the box it was telling me JB was available. I’m not gonna lie but I had my doubts on it but after using it for a bit on JB I gotta say I was impressed cuz its super fast and smooth but in the end I still go with my trusty s2 though its a nice phone
The S2 is a really nice phone, i wont lie, hardware wise its pretty slick

Y’all some phone freaks who cares about the update my Verizon nexus runs smooth enough to wait on the jelly bean update don’t get me wrong either Verizon can be a little responsive for those whose been patiently waiting other than that it should be by the end of the summer
Uhhmmm this is an Android site and stop lying the galaxy nexus stutters on ICS I know cuz I bought my wife one a REAL one not that fake Verizon one and u can see it stutter. On jellybean its freaking fast and no stuttering its like a whole new phone.
I HAVE THE IMM76Q OTA!
i just got a replacement device today with it on it.
