Kingsoft Office, the other office suite Android App

7

Last night I went on a downloading rampage and picked up about a dozen apps. All of them new to me and for the most part, pretty darn cool. One such app that I came across that I hadn’t seen in the before is Kingsoft Office. As one would have guessed, it as application that allows you to open, edit and create office documents. It supports 23 kinds of files,including DOC/DOCX/TXT/XLS/XLSX/PPT/PPTX/PDF. It also offers a built-in file manager to help you keep your documents organized. To help keep you on the go, it also has integrated cloud storage support from Google Drive, Dropbox, Box.net and other WebDAV protocal services.

If you have been looking for an office app that suites your needs, you might just want to give Kingsoft Office a shot. It is supported on Android 2.1 and higher, works on phones and tablets and the best part, it is free. Clearing well over 1 million downloads and holding a star rating of 4.6 has to mean something right? The app will set you back 11M in device space, but is well worth it for viewing, editing, sharing and creating documents on the go. Give it a shot by clicking or scanning the QR code below.

Time for an update. I am the proud father of three, 2, 8, and 11. I finally just moved up from the Samsung Vibrant to the Samsung Galaxy S III...... Let me tell you, it is mind blowing. I love Android, I love tech and I love my family. Not in that order though. I work to hard, play even harder and take care of all that are around me when I can.

So what were the other apps you downloaded? I have been a Kingsoft Office user for a little while and am very impressed with it.

LOL, the list goes on.. Some I have used before and forgot about like, Crackle, Flashlight and Evernote. But I also picked up Dark Summoner, MyCalendar GO Power Master. Still haven’t had time to really check them out. The GO Power Master seems pretty nice and useful with or without GO Launcher EX.

Kingsoft is very responsible and works good for simple edition. Don’t think you’ll be able to make a Jobs level presentation on it. But for simple edition and creation, it works really okay. I’m using it and I’m totally satisfied.

Have been using kingsoft for ages as I open a lot of spreadsheets for work. I have never had a drama with it. It works much better than most of the paid office apps.

I’ve been using kingsoft for a couple of months now. By far it is the best Ms office alternative. One reason I say so is because of its capability to edit the header and footer in .doc documents.

    Clearly the best.
