Samsung follows through, OTA for International Galaxy S III restores universal Search

0

Yesterday we let you wonderful overseas users know that the removal of the universal search on your Galaxy S III was just an accident. Samsung never meant to remove the feature from the International device at all. While the legal battles between Apple and Samsung ensue, the universal search is only a violation in the U.S., at least for now. We have no doubt that Apple doesn’t already have plans to make it a global situation. Be on the look out for a very small, and we mean 5MB, update to land on your device. It will move you to software version XXBLG8 and restore that beloved search functionality that we over here have to hack back into existence.

Time for an update. I am the proud father of three, 2, 8, and 11. I finally just moved up from the Samsung Vibrant to the Samsung Galaxy S III...... Let me tell you, it is mind blowing. I love Android, I love tech and I love my family. Not in that order though. I work to hard, play even harder and take care of all that are around me when I can.
