Just a couple of weeks ago, we got a glimpse of what looked like the “Xperia J”. A lower-end Android device, this time without the “Sony Ericsson” name.
Yes it looks like this will just be a “Sony” phone now. And this has been proven true by the variety of pictures released. The J will likely come in three colors, including a black, white, and pink version.
The variety offers customers a chance to get a more “customized” device, without the need to buy cases and accessories.
And if this is a phone you might buy for several members of your family, the color choice is definitely a positive remark.
In case you are not familiar with the Xperia J, here are some of the specs:
- A 1GHz single-core processor
- 4″ display, with a screen resolution of 480×854
- The capability of running Android 4.0.4
- A 5MP rear camera
There is no word on the price for these stylish phones. Most likely, they will be around the $100 range, or below, with a contract agreement.
What do you think of Sony’s decision to rid of the “Ericsson” name on the Xperia J? Would you consider this device for your family members to stay in touch. I would love to hear your comments.
