Square Enix and Final Fantasy are two names that nearly any gamer has at least heard of. Doesn’t matter if you clocked countless hours of your life in front of a TV playing them or not. The gaming and Android communities begged for Square to bring at least one Final Fantasy game to our platform. In the last few weeks they have not only delivered 1 but 2. Seems that the higher price
Final Fantasy III, at $15, didn’t stop long time lovers of the series from picking it up. Shortly after they released
Final Fantasy, the original, for a smaller charge of $7. Personally I think more game manufacturers need to start taking advantage of bringing the classics and all the nostalgia that we love to our devices.
But we aren’t here to talk about what Square is doing right and what others are doing wrong. We are here for a little info about yet another Final Fantasy game headed to our devices in the very near future. Enter Final Fantasy Dimensions. This was originally called Final Fantasy Legends when it was released in Japan in 2010. It was also the first Final Fantasy game developed specifically for the mobile space.
FFD will bring back the Active Battle system that was first seen in FFIV and let you take on the role of various characters and their various jobs. They range from Freelancer, Warrior, Monk, Thief, Red Mage, Black Mage, White Mage, and Summoners. You will also have control over the Warriors of Light or the Warriors of Darkness party. Each of those will have five members and have their own unique and special abilities.
With the third Final Fantasy installment headed our way before summer ends, you guys should all be stocked up for a long winter of gaming on the couch. Better make sure you have a charger handy so your device doesn’t die in the middle of an epic battle.

Time for an update. I am the proud father of three, 2, 8, and 11. I finally just moved up from the Samsung Vibrant to the Samsung Galaxy S III...... Let me tell you, it is mind blowing. I love Android, I love tech and I love my family. Not in that order though. I work to hard, play even harder and take care of all that are around me when I can.
