What’s the significance of this new invite? Well, first of this one is coming from Samsung Mobile instead of Samsung Electronics. Which points to a new phone from the company. Secondly, since Samsung likes to poke Apple with a big stick, they add “When Magical Moments Come Alive.” Taking a page out of Apples marketing with the whole “Magical” word choice. Thirdly, they have what can only be an S-Pen popping out of the box.
What is the Galaxy Note 2 gonna have? Rumors and speculation have been pegging it as having a 5.5-inch screen with a smaller bezel. Which wouldn’t really make the Note 2 much larger in way of size as the current note. It will should bring along the quad-core Exynos processor at around 1.5GHz, at least for the international version. Most likely, which ever U.S. carriers get it we will see the Qualcomm S4, but Samsung will most likely up the RAM like they id in the Galaxy S III to counter the lack of additional cores. While we like to believe that Samsung will be announcing the device sporting Jelly Bean, we re gonna aim our sights a little lower and go with Ice Cream Sandwich, but they will state updatable to Jelly Bean. Hopefully they prove me wrong on that one.
Now, how will this all affect T-Mobile. We highly doubt T-Mobile will jump on the Note 2 band wagon out the gates. Especially since they are gearing up to release the original Note in 6 days from today. Fashionably late isn’t always a good thing. Samsung will be live streaming the event through their Facebook page, so you might want to bookmark that now. Don’t worry, if you don’t we will remind you before it starts.
