With the over whelming success of the
Samsung Galaxy Note and the
Galaxy S III, it isn’t to far-fetched to believe that other manufacturers might be looking to capitalize on size. A new rumor is floating around that
HTC might be working on a new 5-inch phone for the world to get their hands on. Making the screen slightly larger than the S3 and slightly smaller than the note might be a seriously great sweet spot for a lot of people. Digitimes states the device will be sporting a screen resolution of 1794 x 1080 and is said to be announced officially sometime in September or October.
If HTC plays its cards right and makes sure it has a quad-core processor and support for LTE here in the states, then it could turn out to be a pretty great device. We fully expect to find Sense 4 built-in, but not sure if HTC will make the push to Jelly Bean, or disappoint with Ice Cream Sandwich. Anything is really possible. As with all rumors we will just have to wait and see what HTC has in store for us. Hopefully they can pull a big win out this year, they could really use it.

Time for an update. I am the proud father of three, 2, 8, and 11. I finally just moved up from the Samsung Vibrant to the Samsung Galaxy S III...... Let me tell you, it is mind blowing. I love Android, I love tech and I love my family. Not in that order though. I work to hard, play even harder and take care of all that are around me when I can.

damn, yea if HTC pulls this off RIGHT this time instead of screwing around, with that resolution alone, it’ll beat the Note2 out the water. Good Quad processor, 2GB of RAM, big battery. Be nice if it was stock or a Nexus but we dont wanna push it do we
I wonder if they’ll kill off this one after only a year and screw their customers over like they did with the Flyer and the Evo View 4G.
They shut the door on these tablets and their owners after only 6 months. The tablet was released in June 2011 and killed in January 2012. Now owners are stuck with a Honeycomb build that DOES NOT WORK!!!!! and HTC won’t even give them ICS or at least a way to get back to a working Gingerbread.
Proceed with caution when dealing with HTC. They’ll take your money and then turn their backs on you and their product.
