Seems an update for the
Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 on T-Mobile’s network is just hanging around for you guys. The slate can now be easily upgraded to Android 4.0.4
Ice Cream Sandwich. The build number is listed as
T859UVLH6 and has actually been available since the 31st of August. Not that many people noticed with it being a holiday weekend and all. Don’t expect your tablet to prompted you for the update though, it is only available via the Samsung Kies software.
You will want to make sure you have the latest version of the Kies software installed before attempting the update manually. That can be confirmed and installed from
Samsung. Make sure your tablet is charged well over 50% before you get started. T-Mobile makes sure to let you know that your home screen layout will be wiped out during the update also.
