“There’s a lot of empathy towards the lovable enemies from the Angry Birds games, and we’ve been constantly asked: what about the pigs’ side of the story?” said Mikael Hed, CEO of Rovio. “Bad Piggies gives you the chance to play as the second-most-loved characters in the Angry Birds universe, and explore this rich world through their green eyes.”
We do know from the press release though, that there won’t be any slingshots to deal with though. Petri Järvilehto, EVP Games at Rovio said, “ “We’ve had a lot of fun creating a totally new and unique gameplay experience.” So we can expect a totally new style of game play and walk, or rather bounce/roll, our way through the world of the pigs. There is always two sides to any story, maybe we will find out the pigs really aren’t all that bad, but got a bum rap from the birds. I know we will be eagerly waiting for game trailers and more information about this latest addition to our platform. Anyone else excited to see what Rovio has up their sleeves?
