Source shares Galaxy Note II screenshot for Verizon

The Samsung Galaxy Note II is making headlines and waves all over the place. Even after the official announcement from Samsung at their Unpacked event. While the event was pretty darn sweet and the device itself looks pretty amazing, we are all still waiting on pricing and availability. We all figured that Samsung would push the Note II just as hard as they have done with the Galaxy S III and it is shaping up to be just that. We have seen leaks for a T-Mobile version, AT&T and Sprint versions have system dumps floating around and now we see one coming in for Verizon.

A source for BriefMobile sent over a nice little ’About Device’ screenshot showing what they say is the Note II, model number SCH-I605. Sure, the Note II is a heavy hitter with Jelly Bean pre-installed, 2GB of RAM, new and improved S Pen, and packed full of software goodies that will make any tablet owner jealous. What makes this so attractive in the states isn’t all that though. It has been confirmed now by multiple inside sources for various carrier versions that the Note II in the states will keep the quad-core Exynos processor inside and still support 4G LTE services.

Pair the Note II up with the Galaxy S III and we are looking at one heck of a year in the states for Samsung as a company and a whole lot of extremely satisfied Android users. I was personally dead set on an S III but haven’t pulled the trigger yet. I might just have to wait and see how much the Note II is going to set me back instead. Anyone else out there holding back on a new device to see when this puppy lands for your carrier?

Time for an update. I am the proud father of three, 2, 8, and 11. I finally just moved up from the Samsung Vibrant to the Samsung Galaxy S III...... Let me tell you, it is mind blowing. I love Android, I love tech and I love my family. Not in that order though. I work to hard, play even harder and take care of all that are around me when I can.

Yep, I’ve been desperately and impatiently waiting for Verizon to catch-up ever since the Note ONE came out last year! I’ve almost broken down several times and switched to ATT just to get it! I’m desperately in need (and due) of an upgrade and have just been limping along on my current device ……. hoping and waiting and waiting and waiting ….. I even almost broke down and got the LG Intuition, thinking VZN was NEVER going to carry the Note. I’m very disappointed that now I have to wait til the end of OCTOBER for VZN to finally get this device, after I’ve waited SOOOOO LONG already, but I guess I have no choice, but to hang in there a little while longer. *sigh* :-(
