The Samsung Galaxy S III is without a doubt the hottest selling device across the globe right now. Even with the Note 2 hot on its heals, the S III is more phone then most people will ever need. The price difference for a new S III per carrier wasn’t drastic, at least not between these three, but picking up a new account with another carrier vs upgrading often has its perks. In this case Amazon has a special running for Verizon, Sprint and AT&T wanna be customers. You can snag a 16GB Samsung Galaxy S III for a small charge of only $99.99. That’s a pretty good deal if you have been thinking about switching carriers lately.

The break down for an upgrade to an existing account puts an S III on your current line for $149 with Verizon and Sprint. On the AT&T side of things you would be looking at $179 for an upgrade. No matter which route you take you are still getting a better deal than any T-Mobile customer out there. If you have been waiting for a good reason to pull the trigger and jump ship to another provider, now is a pretty good time. Time for an update. I am the proud father of three, 2, 8, and 11. I finally just moved up from the Samsung Vibrant to the Samsung Galaxy S III...... Let me tell you, it is mind blowing. I love Android, I love tech and I love my family. Not in that order though. I work to hard, play even harder and take care of all that are around me when I can.

Yesterday, Tmobile offered the Samsung galaxy S III for a 12 hour websale for 99.00 (after mail in rebate) as well, though for new customers only. Yet they offered the upgrade price of 279.00 for my husband’s line.
I’m getting tired of long time customers getting shafted on phone prices by tmobile. It’s crap that every other carrier offers lower prices on phones..

I agree. It is the one reason why I haven’t been able to upgrade yet.. To damn expensive.

Yea, I was wondering that, your using the Original Galaxy arnt you. When do you plan to upgrade? Dont you get some discount after 2 years? Or do you plan to buy a phone out right next go around

Ya, I still have a Vibrant. TMo wants like $279 for an S III. That’s ridiculous. I’d love to upgrade, and I really need to, hard to test out and try new games and software when my phone can’t handle it. But I won’t settle for something less than I want, i’d rather just go without.
