A new sample shot with its accompanying EXIF data sheet could lead us to Samsung’s next Nexus release. The Info sheet offers up a Samsung device with a model number of GT-i9260. Last years Galaxy Nexus was the GT-i9250. So this hints at a slight number jump to the Nexus line. Not a whole lot of info is in the EXIF data though, we don’t get to see the megapixel’s or anything else of real significance. You can see that the camera offers up an F/2.65 aperture and a 4mm focal length. Which is slightly better than the Galaxy S III.
This is all well and good, but what we are still more interested to now is not so much what the next Samsung Nexus device will be, but more so if all the OEM’s are going to produce and sell one. That has been the rumor for a while. LG and HTC are supposed to be in the running, as they have been in the past, but will more than one OEM branded Nexus device hit the Play Store this year? We certainly hope so. It sure would make the Google Experience just that much more appealing to a lot more people. We are certainly getting excited to see what happens later this fall, are you guys?
