[Video] Modern Combat 4: Zero Hour headed to Android later this Fall

5

We knew Gameloft was working on Modern Combat 4 along with Wild Blood, Zombiewood and Playmobile Pirate . When it would be released and what the ending title tag would be was still a mystery. All we knew is it was in the works. Gameloft was recently at the Tokyo Game Show last week and they showed off a little bit of a game trailer for the fourth installment of the Modern Combat series for mobile devices.

Enter Modern Combat 4: Zero Hour. The story line still focuses on the K.P.R. alliance and they have snagged the President of the United States while in Hawaii. Your job is to rescue him. Silly President. Gameloft points MC4 to hit Android, iPad and iPhone sometime this fall, but doesn’t give a month for us to even shoot for. With device technology excelling in speed, power and RAM, MC4 should be a rather awesome game. Let’s just hope they keep it as a paid game that you can own and beat instead of some freebie with in-app purchases. Take a gander at the little preview found its way out from the event to YouTube.

Not sure if I will jump on the MC4 bandwagon at launch though. While Gameloft makes great games, I have a sour taste in my mouth from the current unsupported games on my Galaxy S III.

Time for an update. I am the proud father of three, 2, 8, and 11. I finally just moved up from the Samsung Vibrant to the Samsung Galaxy S III...... Let me tell you, it is mind blowing. I love Android, I love tech and I love my family. Not in that order though. I work to hard, play even harder and take care of all that are around me when I can.

I’m sure I won’t buy it. I paid a lot for MC3 and what did I get? It contains a bug, which causes the game to close if I select English as the game’s language while the main language of my phone is Hungarian. It contains other bugs too, like it starts to lag very badly when you’re near another player. There hasn’t been an update for months. So I’m not willing to pay for crap, not again.

  3. [...] Yesterday we showed you guys a small portion of a fairly low quality look at the new Modern Combat 4: Zero Hour game headed out this fall from Gameloft. It looked ok, but there wasn’t a lot of action to see and the quality wans’t the best. Can’t complain to much, it was a leaked video from a game trade show overseas. Gameloft has now pushed the full video trailer to their YouTube channel for all to drool over. It looks pretty epic. Take a quick look. [...]
